Short, because there isn't much service to speak of. It's a web page that converts a file on your own computer.

Copyright is your responsibility

Only convert things you own or are otherwise entitled to copy. Format-shifting a book you paid for is usually fine. Converting a work you have no rights to and passing it around is infringement, and running it through here doesn't change that. Your file never reaches us, so we can't review what you convert or do anything about it. That makes it your call, and your responsibility.

No warranty

Free, as-is, no guarantees. Rebuilding a book from a PDF involves a lot of guesswork, so the output can lose formatting, jumble text, or fail outright on some documents. Don't let it be the only copy of anything. Keep your PDF.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that comes out of using this site, including bad conversions or lost work. The software runs on your device and we receive nothing, so we have no access to your files and can't recover them for you.

Kindle and Send to Kindle belong to Amazon.com, Inc. Kobo belongs to Rakuten Kobo Inc., Nook to Barnes & Noble. We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any of them. This site makes standard EPUB files, which their devices happen to read.
